Virtual Dream Exercise

This is an exercise in lucid dreaming which we've developed that prepares the mind for the virtual dreaming experience. This is for those of you interested in lucid dreaming and possibly already getting moments of lucidity in your dreams.

 

Try each task upon waking, prior to attempting the tasks in your dreams, so that you have the procedure well-rehearsed. Then try each task at least once in a dream. You do not need to complete all the tasks in one dream, but can use as many as you need.

 

Find a light switch in your dream.

 

Turn it on, and see what happens...then turn it off, and see what happens.

 

Our research suggest 80% of lucid dreamers attempting this succeed in turning the lights on and off with the other twenty having other outcomes like dim light or new scenes.

 

Virtual dreaming is software assisted lucid dreaming which has just been given the green light in a number of clinical studies in Australia.

 

The Dreamguides community has been trialling the technology for the past year and we will be sharing the results of this research.
