This is the fourth exercise in the Dreamguides' lucid dreaming program, which prepares the mind for the virtual dreaming experience. Virtual dreaming is software assisted lucid dreaming which has been given the green light in a number of clinincal studies in Australia.
Software assisted doesn't mean computer controlled, you still have to do the work of attaining the lucid state in the dream and to assist with this I have developed this series of lucid dream exercises.
As in the previus exercise in this series, find a mirror in your dream.
Then pass through the mirror and see what is on the other side.
You would think that passing through a mirror to another scene in a dream would be a difficult task, given that it is impossible in waking life.
However, our research suggests that almost half of those who try succeed, and 86 percent of people are able to get their dream bodies through the dream mirror at least once. Let us know how you get on.
The virtual dreaming technology, which is touch screen, wireless and non-invasive has been developed as a therapeutic aid and no commercial application is yet available.
The Dreamguides community has been trialling the technology for the past year and we have found it seemlessly assists the lucid dream state. Check out our network for more info on virtual and lucid dreaming at dreamguides.net
Happy dreaming.
